Eco-Friendly Equestrian Fashion: Sustainable Choices for You and Your Horse
Equipad has a mission; to create a better world for you and your horse.
Since 2020, we have been on a mission to create a better world for you and your cherished horses. Our recycled base layers were just the beginning and over the years we've continued to evolve our approach to what we believe is sustainable horse and rider wear and we’re equally excited to continue to expand it.
Let’s learn a little more about how we do what we do;
ECONYL® is a regenerated nylon is a product that is made from waster, it's infinitely recyclable and can unleash infinite possibilities for makers, creators and consumers. It's all part of the ECONYL® brand vision to make the world a better place by pioneering closed loop regeneration processes and delivering sustainable products. Equipad is equipped with ECONYL® throughout a range of our products.
As apart of our initiative to create a better world for you and your horse, we’re always working towards incorporating recycled textiles and materials into every product we make.
Our sustainable products
Recycled Breeches
A must have addition to your riding wardrobe, our recycled breeches are made with 66% recycled nylon sourced from plastic water bottles. They're super stretchy and breathable.
Recycled Base Layers
Our recycled base layers are made from 78% recycled nylon. Crafted from an italian textile that uses a yarn called "econyl", the nylon in these tops originate from "ghost" or otherwise known as, abandoned fishing nets and other marine waste.
Recycled Saddle Pads
In late 2022, we launched the latest addition of our recycled range, our recycled saddle pads. Each saddle pad is made from 4-5 plastic water bottles! Our founder, Katie-lea is dedicated to creating long lasting, quality and sustainable riding wear for all riders. Not only through our products but also in our offices and across our home farms by incorporating paper free workplaces and worm farms.
